The Lampivaara Amethyst Mine is a unique attraction in Lapland. This gem mine is located in the heart of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. 

The geological age of the region is several billion years. During your visit to the amethyst mine, set out to find your own Lapland gemstone: the purple amethyst. From the top of Lampivaara Hill, admire a breathtaking panorama, arguably the most beautiful in the region. During a presentation, you will discover the fascinating history of this gemstone. 

Afterward, everyone will have the opportunity to search for and unearth their own amethyst to take home as a souvenir.
